Let the municipality know in advance that you intend to distribute advertising materials. The municipality may set Requirements on how you may do this.

For advertising signs on a property larger than a 0.5 square meter, you need a permit from the municipality.

If you serve or sell alcohol, you need an Alcohol License from the municipality.

If you want to serve and sell alcohol during an event, you need an exemption from the municipality.

Do you want your business to discharge wastewater to the municipal sewer system? Discharges must be reported and some require a permit.

Do you want to renounce your Dutch nationality? Then you can make a declaration at the municipality.

The municipality can impose a write-up if a home, living quarters, trailer or commercial building is in poor condition.
