Giving permission
Are you in full view? For example, as the only person in the photo or video? Then the photographer or filmmaker will ask you for permission to use that photo or video. You sign the statement of permission from the municipality. For children under 16, one of the parents/caregivers must give permission. We destroy the photos after 5 years and for children up to 16 years, after 2 years.
Photos without permission
If you are in a photo or video with a lot of people (for example, at an organized meeting or free-to-attend event, or random passersby are in the picture), we cannot ask everyone personally for permission. This is especially common in public places and events. Even then, we handle your personal data as carefully as possible. We pay close attention to which subjects we use these types of photos or videos.
