  • Becoming Dutch by option

    If you want to become a Dutch citizen by option, you can apply to the municipality.

  • Proof of Dutch citizenship

    A proof of Dutch citizenship is a written statement from the municipality. This states that you have the Dutch nationality.

  • Letter address

    If you have no residential address in the Netherlands, you can register temporarily at the address of someone else or an institution (a postal address).

  • Proof of being alive

    A proof of being alive allows you to show on paper that you are alive. You apply for a proof of living at the municipality.

  • Attestation de vita (international proof of being alive)

    An attestation de vita is an international proof that you are alive. You apply for the attestation de vita in person at the municipality.

  • Copy (extract) of marital status

    An excerpt or transcript of marital status is a written record of, for example, a marriage, divorce, birth or death.

  • Adjusting incorrect personal data

    Are your personal data not properly registered in the Basic Registration of PersonsBRP)? Then you can ask the municipality to amend it.

  • Tree felling

    If you want to cut down, transplant or substantially prune one or more trees, you sometimes need an environmental permit from the municipality.

  • Entering cordoned off area

    It is forbidden to enter an area cordoned off by the municipality. If you wish to do so anyway, you must apply for a waiver from the municipality,

  • Handicapped parking

    A disabled parking space is a parking space for people with physical disabilities. Other drivers are not allowed to park their cars here.
