Handicapped parking pass

• The parking pass is for personal use and is in your name.
• The parking map is not by license plate number. You can use the Map for any car.
• The parking pass is valid for up to 5 years.
• Parking areas where you may park are indicated by a road sign.

• On an initial application, we may request a medical opinion. This fee must be paid in advance.
• You will not get this amount back if you do not get a disabled parking permit.
• The Map is valid for a maximum of 5 years.
• A medical opinion is usually not required for extensions, for example, in cases of permanent disability.

You are eligible if:

Director

• You have a valid driver's license.
• You live in the municipality of Voorne aan Zee.
• You are unable to walk more than 100 meters on your own (even with assistive devices such as a cane, crutches, or a walker).

Passenger

• You require continuous assistance from door to door. This means that you cannot wait on your own while the driver parks or picks up the car.
  
  For example, you cannot wait on your own in a wheelchair, with a walker, or with another assistive device.
• Children may also be eligible for this.

The Map linked to a specific user and is not tied to a license plate number. You can use it in different cars. 

Disabled parking permit application

1. Online with DigiD
   Apply for the disabled parking permit online using the button above. Log in with your DigiD. You will be charged an application fee, which is non-refundable if your application is denied.
2. Paper Application
   Pick up an application form at the Customer Contact Center. Submit the fully completed form to our office address in Hellevoetsluis. You must pay the application fee in person at that time. This fee is non-refundable if you are not issued a disabled parking permit.
   
   Do you need help with digital services? Please contact the Digital Government Information Point. 
   
   Apply for a renewal no later than 8 weeks before the expiration date.

When picking up the disabled parking permit, bring:

• The notification letter (the official letter stating whether you will receive the disability card).
• A valid ID of the applicant.
• Valid driver's license (for the driver's card).
• A recent passport photo that meets the passport photo requirements.
