Handicapped parking pass
Are you unable to walk far due to illness, impairment or disability and use a car as a driver or passenger? Then you may be eligible for a disabled parking permit. This parking card allows you to park in disabled parking spaces close to facilities.
How does it work?
- Parking areas where you may park are indicated by a road sign.
- The parking ticket is in a person's name.
- The parking map is not by license plate number. You can use the Map for any car.
- The parking pass is valid for up to 5 years.
Requirements
To assess whether you meet the Requirements for a handicapped parking permit, we request a medical opinion. The cost for a medical opinion can be found under the heading "Fees.
You qualify for a handicapped parking permit if you meet the following Requirements :
- you are a driver and
- you live in the municipality of Voorne aan Zee and
you are unable (with the usual walking aids) to bridge a distance of 100 meters. - For a disabled passenger parking ticket, you are continuously dependent on the driver's assistance.
- Drivers and passengers who are permanently wheelchair bound are eligible for a disabled parking permit.
What should I do?
You can apply for the disabled parking permit digitally via the link below. You then log in with your DigiD. If your Disabled Parking Permit expires and you would like to apply for an extension, this can be done up to 8 weeks in advance.

You can also pick up the application form from the Customer Contact Center at one of our visiting addresses. You will then hand in this application form, fully completed and signed, at the Customer Contact Center at our visiting address in Hellevoetsluis. There you can also pay the application fee for the disabled parking permit.

What do I need?
- Your valid ID.
- For a disabled driver parking permit, bring your driver's license.
- A recent passport photo that meets the passport photo requirements.

For applications made through June 2025, we will only charge you the cost of applying for the Map .From July 1, 2025, if necessary, costs for a medical opinion may be charged. You will receive a letter with further information in this case.
