Child package

Not everyone has money to allow children to play sports or go on field trips. Do you have children and a low income? Then the Child Package is for you. Because with the Child Package children up to 18 years can participate in activities. You can also get things for them that are needed for school. You can apply for the Child Package on the website of Stichting Leergeld ZHM. 

How does it work?

In these situations, you can get a Child Package:

  • You live in Voorne aan Zee.
  • You will receive child benefit for the child for whom you apply for the Child Package.
  • Your income is less than 120% of the social assistance standard applicable to your situation. You can read more information about the correct amounts on the Rijksoverheid website.
  • You use the amicable or WSNP route as part of debt relief*.

* Are you using the amicable debt relief program or have you been admitted to the WSNP and do you have an income of more than 120% of the social assistance standard? Then you may still be eligible for the Child Package.

Leergeld ZHM's Child Package consists of:

  • Child pass for clothing (0-18 years)
  • School Supplies Pass (ages 4-18)
  • Bicycle (ages 4-18)
  • Laptop for secondary education (from bridge class onwards)
  • Family laptop (from 7 years of age)
  • Contribution for Sports and Culture (ages 4-18).
  • Jarige Job birthday box (0-18 years)
  • Swimming certificate A or B (ages 6 and up)
  • Outings (from spring 2025)

If you have a low income you can apply for the Child Package from January 1, 2025. You can apply through the website of Elk kind doet mee. Read the Requirements and apply.
