Work on trees

The municipality is cutting down 1 Alder. Inspection has shown that the tree cannot be retained. The reason for cutting down this tree is seriously affected by disease and may become a hazard. 

A number of trees are being cut down here because of damage to the pavement from root pressure. Also, the site is too small for the size of the tree. The trees are short of the roadway and show die-off of branches. 7 Amber trees will be replanted.

The municipality cut down 1 tree due to huge root pressure and blockage of the firebreak.

The municipality is removing 18 trees. As a result of the proposed development on Dwarsweg, the trees along the canal near Dwarsweg and Dirk van Voornelaan have been assessed for their condition and future prospects by an outside tree specialist. This assessment revealed that some trees have a reasonable to poor life expectancy. It also revealed that the distance of the trees from the planned development is a concern. In the woodland park near the Dirk van Voornelaan, there are a few tall trees. Due to the overhanging branches, there is a chance of the branches breaking later. To ensure safety, it is planned to remove a number of trees.

Implementation March 2025.

The tree will be cut down due to nuisance. We are replanting 3 trees on the Wielewaal.
