When 

• Work will commence on Monday, November 24, 2025, and continue until Friday, November 13, 2026. 

Where

• Throughout the Marinebuurt neighborhood in various phases. Residents have been informed of this via a letter to residents.

When 

• Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 17

Where

• The bike path on Rijksstraatweg between Amnesty Internationallaan and VV Hellevoetsluis.
• Stedin has installed a new power cable that needs to be connected to the homes along Rijksstraatweg.
• The old cable also needs to be removed.

Detour

• The bike path is closed. Cyclists can follow a detour route, which is marked with signs.

When 

• From Monday, April 20, through Friday, May 15. The work will be carried out in phases. 

Where 

• The bicycle crossings on Nelson Mandelalaan, Dorpsweg, and Bonseweg in Hellevoetsluis are being made safer.
• We are removing the existing thresholds and installing a raised platform with traffic lights. Both crossings will be coated in yellow. This has a slowing effect.
• During Phase 1 (Monday, April 20, through Thursday, April 30), Van Gelder will be carrying out work on the bicycle crossing at Bonseweg. At the same time, the Bonseweg bike path up to the Dijkweg intersection will be repaved.
• During Phase 2 (Friday, May 1 through Friday, May 15), Van Gelder will be carrying out work on the bicycle crossing at Dorpsweg. 

Detour

• During the works, Nelson Mandelalaan will be closed to traffic between the Dag Hammarskjöldlaan roundabout and the Moeder Teresalaan roundabout.
• Through traffic will be diverted via Kanaalweg Westzijde.
• The Berkman gas station remains accessible.
• The work will be carried out at each crossing point.
• Cyclists will be rerouted via one of the two crossings. During Phase 1 (Monday, April 20 through Thursday, April 30), cyclists can use the Dorpsweg crossing. During Phase 2 (Friday, May 1 through Friday, May 15), cyclists can use the Bonseweg crossing.

• From Tuesday, April 7, through Wednesday, April 15. The work will be carried out in two phases.

Where 

• Phase 1 - Illuminated pedestrian signs will be installed above the crosswalks on Alardusdreef and at the roundabout with Nieuwe Achterweg on Tuesday, April 7, Wednesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 9.
• Phase 2 - The Alardusdreef–Nieuwe Achterweg roundabout will be repaved. The roundabout will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15.

Detour

• Phase 1 - Work on Alardusdreef on Tuesday, April 7, Wednesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 9 will be carried out with half the roadway closed off. Traffic can pass on the other half of the road. Traffic controllers will be on site.
• Phase 2 - During the work on the roundabout on Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15, a detour will be marked with signs.
• Please allow for a longer travel time.

When 

• From Monday, March 9, until the end of December. 

Where

• Jupiterlaan, Plutostraat, Sagittastraat, Orionstraat, Librastraat, Wega, and part of Van Leijdenstraat in Rockanje.
• We are starting with the construction of a new rainwater sewer. This means that rainwater will not end up in the sewage system, but will be discharged into the groundwater or the canal. All drainage wells on the roadway will be connected to this sewer.
• After installing the new sewer system, the street will be closed again using the same materials. The sewer trench must settle for three months (to prevent subsequent subsidence of the street).
• Then we will start redesigning the neighborhood. Among other things, the paving will be completely redone. We will use new materials for this. New shrubs and trees will also be planted in the neighborhood.

Detour 

• During the work, some homes will be more difficult to reach by car. Residents will always be able to reach their homes on foot.

The Hollandse Delta Water Authority is going to tackle the section running from Oostvoorne to Rockanje. This concerns the Heveringseweg, Verlengde Lodderlandsedijk, Boomweg, and Vleerdamsedijk. The section will be redesigned to meet sustainable safety standards, and major maintenance will be carried out on some parts.

Contractor Van Gelder is carrying out Voorne aan Zee on the road network in our municipality on behalf of the municipality Voorne aan Zee . This mainly involves asphalting work. This work may cause temporary inconvenience to road users and local residents. Road diversions may also be put in place in connection with the work.
