Placing an object on or at the road

You may not just use the road, sidewalk or any part of it. For example, do you want to place a scaffold, container, building materials, construction shed, crane or aerial platform? If so, you may need a permit.

What should I do?

If you wish to use the public space for more than 1 month, you must apply for a permit 6 weeks before the start of the placement and or work via the Environment Desk.

If you wish to use the public space for less than 1 month, you must submit a notification no later than 2 weeks before the start of the placement and or work. Please take into account article 2.10 of the General Local Bye-Laws Voorne aan Zee.

Costs

There is no charge for just a notification.

How long does it take?

Once we receive your application, you will receive a written decision within 14 days. We will indicate on your permit the period for which it is valid.

Objecting

Do you disagree with the municipality's decision? Then you can object within 6 weeks.
