Report traffic unsafe situation

To increase traffic safety within built-up areas, there are 30 km/h areas. Speed bumps, narrows and narrow lanes are intended to slow down traffic. These are mainly residential areas, shopping streets, schools and other places where there are many pedestrians, cyclists and playing children.

Outside the 30 km/h areas and within the built-up area, the speed limit is 50 km/h. Other roads outside the built-up area are managed by the Hollandse Delta Water Board, Province of South Holland or the Department of Public Works (N57). Of these, the municipality is not a road administrator.
