Public space notification

Do you see something broken, a nuisance or an unsafe situation in the municipality? For example: loose paving stones, litter or public greenery such as blown off branches, please report it to the municipality. This way you help keep your neighborhood clean and safe.

How does it work?

First check the overview map to see if a notification has already been made. If so, you do not need to make a notification.

Hasn't a notification been made yet? Then do so using the "Make a Public Space Notification" button at the top of the page.

  1. Describe what is going on and attach pictures if necessary
  2. Please provide the location
  3. Enter your contact information if you want to be kept informed or send the report anonymously

What can you report?

What you can report to the municipality

  • loose paving stone
  • hole in the road
  • damage to traffic signs

  • Street lighting outside built-up areas

Contact Waterschap Hollandse Delta.

Note!

The municipality does not resolve all reports. Have you made a notification about objects or places that do not belong to the municipality? Then the municipality does nothing. You can make your notification to the owner.

How long does it take?

The municipality usually handles your report within two business days. This does not mean that the situation will be resolved in two days. Sometimes it takes longer because:

  • the work needs to be outsourced
  • the work is included in the scheduled maintenance round

Questions about your report?

Each notification is registered under a notification number. You will find this number in the confirmation e-mail of your notification. You will only receive it if you enter your e-mail address. Please have the notification number ready when you contact us.
