You may not simply create an entrance or exit to a public road. You need a permit from the municipality to do so.

Apply for a permit through the Omgevingsloket

Here's how it works

  • You can apply for a permit at the Omgevingsloket. You can do this through the Omgevingsloket website at.
  • You are submitting an application for the activity “Creating, maintaining, or modifying an access route, or changing its use – Permit Application.”
  • The review of the permit is subject to an 8-week deadline, which may be extended by 6 weeks.

Submission Requirements

Are you planning to apply for a permit? If so, you must submit the following documents:

  • A diagram of the current situation
  • A site plan showing the proposed layout

Both drawings must include dimensions and must show the adjacent public area.
