What is the social area team?
At the Voorne aan Zee social area team, aid and care providers in the neighborhoods can ask questions and spar about what else is possible in the support they provide to all residents from -9 months to 100 years. Think of schools and school social work, general practitioners and POH (J) district nursing, welfare and youth workers, housing corporation, social workers, CJG, churches, sports clubs or associations. If more is needed in terms of support or Health , the social area team can collaborate with the district professional and resident and provide more intensive support.

- Problems with debt;
- Loneliness;
- Youth and parenting questions;
- Questions in divorce;
- Independent client support;
- Social work;
- Integral early assistance;
- Mediator;
- Treatment for youth mental health issues;
- Mental health or intellectual disability questions.
The Voorne aan Zee social area team Voorne aan Zee also deploy indicated youth assistance and Wmo (Social Support Act) if no appropriate support is available in the neighborhood. The social area team is also the place for mandatory mental health care registration or where Veilig Thuis(Safe Home) can file reports. How does the social area team work?
Professionals can visit the walk-in office of the social area team every week or ask a question by email or, with the permission of the person seeking help, submit a support request. The social area team reviews these emails daily. Twice a week the employees meet with the appropriate expertise to answer the question or discuss the application. Urgent applications do not wait until the meeting, but are immediately dealt with by the social work team.
The social area team works area-oriented, integrally and in close cooperation with the applicant for support and the household/family involved.
