Good to see you!
The Municipality of Voorne aan Zee set up the resident platform "Fijn je te zien!" in 2018. Fijnjeteziennl is online and offline the place where residents can find and meet each other. It is a gathering place for fun neighborhood news/activities, requests for help and volunteer vacancies. Local welfare offerings from organizations such as the PUSH Foundation, SBO and the Elderly Welfare Foundation are also listed on the website. More information can be read on Fine to See website.
The goal
During conversations with fellow village and townspeople, the theme of visibility kept coming up. Visibility of all that Voorne aan Zee has to offer, but also the visibility of traditions.
For people new to our community, it is helpful to know what the activities and customs are in your village, neighborhood or street. For example, whether there is a running group or yoga in the neighborhood, or whether there is an annual garage sale in your street or a neighborhood barbecue. You can share this information and activities yourself on the 'Fijnjetezien' website, so that anyone who wants to can join in.
Fijnjeteziennl
At Fijnjeteziennl you will find these topics:
- Agenda - Here you will find a collection of activities happening in the neighborhood.
- Help each other - Here you will find an overview of requests for help/ offers of help from residents or volunteer organizations. Here you can look for suitable volunteer work or offer your voluntary work. You can also search for a buddy or post a call to get in touch with someone else.
- Welfare Guide - Here you can find organizations, associations and initiatives that provide social help and support to residents. For example, about Health, nutrition, learning and exercise.
- Academy - The academy is where you can find the range of trainings, courses and workshops. These trainings are often free for residents who volunteer to help others.
