Composition of college of B&W

What is the college doing?
The College of Mayor and Aldermen is the daily administration of the municipality and implements the decisions (policies) of the municipal council. The college also implements laws and regulations of the state and province.
The City Council monitors whether the College of Mayor and Aldermen is properly implementing agreed-upon policies.
Municipalities have a dualistic form of government. This means that the roles of the municipal council and the college of mayor and aldermen are separate. The college manages the municipality, but the municipal council heads the municipality and represents the residents.
The College of Mayors and Aldermen (also called College of B&W), together with the City Council, forms the administration of the municipality. The mayor presides over both the college of B&W and the municipal council.
