Sewer connection request

The municipality provides public sewer connection on private property:

If you want to connect your home or commercial property to the sewer system or request an additional connection, you can do so here.
The municipality provides, for a fee, the connection to the sewer and lays a plot connection pipe up to the property boundary.
On your own property, you are responsible for laying and connecting the sewer line to the plot connection pipe.
The " Voorne aan Zee sewerage connection conditions regulation 2023" shall apply.

How does it work?

Keep wastewater pipes such as those for the toilet, shower and washing machine (also called gray and black water) separate from clean stormwater. Health ensure that the pipes remain separated all the way to the property line.
Depending on the type of sewer in your street (mixed or separate), it is necessary to make a joint connection or two separate connections.
If there is no sewer system present in the street or road to which it can be connected, for example, outside the built-up area, a custom solution must be developed.

You request a sewer connection from the municipality.

Specify:

For which address you are requesting a sewer connection
By which date you want a sewer connection
If you know, please indicate whether it should be a combined connection or two separate connections.
If you don't know the answer or are unsure, you can skip that question.
If you know of a sewer system not yet in the street, please let us know.
You can indicate all this by completing the "Sewer Connection Request" form.

Within the built-up area, a single connection to a gravity-flow system is subject to a fixed amount, as established in the "Regulation on Connection Conditions of Sewerage Voorne aan Zee 2023.
A flat rate of €1,751.19 including VAT.
Within urban areas, the fixed amount for two separate connections (rainwater and wastewater) is €2,122.66, including VAT.
For a connection inside or outside the built-up area, where there is no possibility to connect to a nearby free-fall system, or when discharging commercial wastewater, the actual costs for the realization of the connection will be charged.
By actual costs, we mean all costs incurred by the municipality in establishing the connection(s).
A quote will be prepared for the expected work, which will then be shared with you for approval.
If you agree to the quote, we will send you the permit letter and invoice.
After payment of the invoice, the work will be carried out as soon as possible and always in consultation with you.
