The municipality levies tourist tax because tourists use facilities in the municipality.

You can obtain a copy of your property tax assessment (OZB) from the SVHW. You may need this when selling your home, for example.

You pay precario tax for the use of municipal land, for example because you place a terrace, scaffolding, advertising board or container.

Do you have one or more dogs? If so, you must report this to the SVHW. SVHW levies and collects the dog tax for several municipalities.

You pay property tax (OZB) if you own an immovable property, such as a home or commercial property.

If you are unable to pay your municipal tax on time, you can make arrangements with the SVHW.

You can obtain a copy of your municipal tax assessment from the SVHW, for example if you have lost the original.

Sometimes you get back municipal taxes you paid (for example, if you move).

Waiver means that you do not have to pay all or part of the municipal taxes and fees.

You contribute to the collection and processing of household waste. You will receive an assessment for this.
