What should I do?

You may be able to apply for a public charging station if you meet these Requirements:

For Hellevoetsluis

  • You live or work in the municipality of Voorne aan Zee.
  • You do not have your own parking lot or garage where you can have a charging station installed. Please note! The municipality only places public charging stations. A charging station owned by a person or company may not be located on municipality land.
  • You cannot charge your car in a (parking) garage.
  • There is no charging station within a walking distance of 200 meters that you can use.
  • You own or lease an all-electric or plug-in hybrid car.
  • You have a parking permit, if it is a charging station in a permit area.
  • You drive a minimum of 10,000 km per year electrically. This is about 2,000 kWh of charged electricity per year.
  • The municipality considers the application in terms of whether it fits with the general interest and municipal policy and whether it is technically possible to install the pole.
