Construction
The municipality is working with developer Zenzo Social Real Estate to build the facilities cluster and housing. The facilities cluster will be built first. This will be followed by the construction of the homes in several phases.
Construction of the facilities cluster
Commissioned by Zenzo Maatschappelijk Vastgoed, contractor Aan de Stegge Roosendaal BV (ADSR) is building the facilities cluster in Zwartewaal. The facilities cluster will be built on the site (grass field) between the parking lot and the ditch next to the Martinus Church. The construction site will also be set up at this location. During the construction period you may experience some inconvenience from construction traffic and work at the construction site. Naturally, ADSR will try to limit this as much as possible.

Construction route
The Map below shows the route of construction traffic. A temporary route has been created between Provincialeweg N218 and Smalleweg. This temporary route may only be used by construction traffic and is prohibited for other traffic. Construction traffic will continue to use the Smalleweg - Sluisweg - Lijnbaanweg route to get to the construction site. For safety, construction traffic is asked to reduce their speed. Parking restrictions are also in place such as a parking ban Monday through Friday on Sluisweg between No. 3 and No. 23. With the temporary new access between the provincial road and Smalleweg, construction traffic will not have to use the existing access to Zwartewaal.
Construction of the homes
After the completion of the facilities cluster, construction of the 85 housing units can start in several phases. These include social rental housing, ground floor apartments, upstairs apartments with commercial spaces underneath, single-family homes, semi-detached and detached homes. Information on the construction of the homes will follow at a later stage.
