Assistance, institution or home
If you stay in a facility, you will receive a lower assistance standard. This is meant as pocket and clothing money. An institution means, among other things, a clinic, a nursing home or a nursing home.

How does it work?
- If you are 18, 19 or 20 years old, you are not entitled to general assistance.
- If you are 21 or older, you are in principle entitled to general assistance. You must meet the Requirements entitlement to general assistance and you must not be excluded from entitlement to general assistance.
How long does it take?
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether you will receive the benefit.
