Bulky waste

Bulky waste is waste that is too large or too heavy for a garbage bag, such as furniture and carpeting. You can bring this to the Environmental park yourself Environmental park have it picked up at home.

Bring it yourself

You can Environmental park bulky waste and renovation waste to the Environmental park yourself. Bring your environmental pass and ID with you. Pay for waste that incurs a charge by debit card.

  • Bring your bulky household waste, yard waste and construction and demolition waste to the Environmental park.
  • When visiting the Environmental park forget to bring yourenvironmental passand ID. 

For a good and fast flow at the Environmental park , we kindly ask you to:

  • Dispose of packaging glass, textiles/clothing and residual waste bags through the designated (neighborhood) containers whenever possible.
  • Offer Waste Paper and Cardboard (OPK), Plastic, Metal Packaging and Beverage Cartons (PMD) through the mini containers at your residence or (for apartment residents) through the assigned underground container for OPK and PMD waste.

Pick up at home 

  • You can register your bulky waste until the Tuesday before collection day, unless the container is full. You can register via the Reinis app. Download the Reinis app from theGoogle Play StoreorApple Store.

Offering bulky waste 

  • Put the bulky waste on the sidewalk in front of your house or at the nearest container site starting at 7:30 a.m. on collection day. Do not put the bulky waste on your own property; it will not be taken off your own property.
  • Bulky waste must not weigh more than 25 kilo bundle.
  • Bulky waste may not exceed 2 meters in length and 1 m³ in volume.

One vehicle for each type of waste passes by to collect the waste. Therefore, offer bulky waste clearly separated.

Bulky waste not picked up?

Your bulky waste may not have been picked up. For example, because you offer more waste than the municipality allows. Has your bulky waste not been picked up? Then call Reinis, telephone number (0181) 61 28 64. They can tell you why your waste has not been picked up.

Do you have garden waste? You can Environmental park it to the Environmental park free of charge. Would you like it to be collected? Then make an appointment. This costs the same as having bulky waste collected.

For Hellevoetsluis, Nieuwehoorn and Oudenhoorn

You can Environmental park bulky waste to the Environmental park or have it collected from your home by the collection service. Take your environmental pass with you to the Environmental park Hellevoetsluis. You will need it to open the barrier.

Pick up at home

In Hellevoetsluis, Nieuwehoorn, and Oudenhoorn, you can only make an appointment for collection by calling 088 7003011.

If you want to have your renovation waste collected, you must place it in a big bag. A big bag has a capacity of 1 m³ (1x1x1 meter). You can pick up and pay for the big bag in advance at the Environmental park. Once the big bag is full, you can call the bulky waste hotline. Call 088 7003011 to make an appointment to have the waste collected.

Do you have garden waste? You can Environmental park it to the Environmental park free of charge. Would you like it to be collected? Then make an appointment. This costs the same as having bulky waste collected.

Availability and use of big bag

  • You can request a maximum of one big bag for renovation waste per month.
  • Each big bag has a capacity of 1 m³.
  • Estimate the amount of waste.
  • If you have more waste, order several big bags.
  • A maximum of 1 m³ per trip applies to bulky waste.
  • Each big bag has a unique number linked to your address and waste.
  • You pay for the big bag at the Environmental park debit card.
  • For bulky waste that does not fit in the big bag, please make a separate appointment via the bulky waste hotline 088 7003011.

Have big bag picked up

  • Call the bulky waste hotline at 088 7003011 (available on weekdays during office hours) to schedule a pickup appointment.
  • Please provide the following information:
    • the registration number of the big bag(s)
    • the pick-up address
    • the number of big bags
    • the type of waste
  • The big bag will be collected on Tuesday after a telephone appointment.
  • Health the big bag is easily accessible from the public road, without obstacles such as trees or lampposts.
  • You do not need to be at home on the collection day.
  • Waste placed next to the big bag or presented incorrectly will not be collected.

It may be that your bulky waste has not been collected. For example, because you have put out more waste than the municipality allows. Has your bulky waste not been collected? Then call Renewi on 088 7003011. They can tell you why your waste has not been collected.

  • Furniture made of wood, metal, or plastic, such as benches, chairs, and tables.
  • Large electrical appliances, such as white goods and brown goods.
  • Coarse garden waste, such as branches, beams, and tree trunks.
  • Other household and decorative materials, such as mattresses, curtains, and floor coverings.
     

Bulky waste that is not collected (but can be handed in at the Environmental park):

  • Construction and demolition waste
  • Tiles and stones
  • Chemical waste, such as paint and pressure containers (gas cylinders)
  • Asbestos materials
