Glass
Glass can be recycled. With glass, there is a difference between glass (= packaging such as bottles and jars) and flat glass (= for example, mirrors or windows).
What should I do?
Well in the glass container:
- All glass bottles and jars of drink, food, baby food, makeup, perfume or medicine.
- sort by color > white, brown and green
- red and blue glass may go in the bin for green glass
- No need to clean bottles and jars
- the glass may be put in the bottle bank with lid or cap and all
Not in the glass container:
- (drinking) glasses
- bowls
- pottery
- mirrors (= flat glass)
- refractory glass (e.g., oven dish or ceramic hob)
- incandescent / energy-saving bulbs
- gin jars
- flower pots
- crystal
- jugs
- porcelain
- windows/windows/double glazing (= flat glass)
- fluorescent tubes (= Household Hazardous Waste)
Bring these materials to the Environmental park, remember to bring your environmental pass.
