Neighborhood fire department
Voorne aan Zee its own neighborhood fire department. Megan van Luijk is your point of contact for advice on fire safety in and around your home. To this end, the neighborhood fire department organizes informational sessions for residents, conducts individual home inspections, provides demonstrations and tips, and holds consultation hours at various locations.
On Mondays, consultation hours are from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the following locations:
- April 13: De Merel in Rockanje
- April 20: The Man in Oostvoorne
- May 4: De Gaffelaar in Zwartewaal
- May 11: DukdalfBRES in Brielle
- May 18: ‘t Dijckhuis in Vierpolders
Community Firefighter Megan van Luijk: “I want to be easily recognizable and visible to the residents of Voorne aan Zee. That’s why you’ll see me in many different places. My goal is to make Voorne aan Zee . And hopefully, that will lead to fewer house fires, less damage, and fewer casualties.”
