Alderman gives the starting signal for the laying of the first pile of 42 social rental homes

Thursday December 21st gave Alderman Daan van Orselen gives the starting signal for the first pile of the 42 social rental homes that are being built on Patrijzenlaan.
The start of construction was celebrated with local residents and employees of Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee and Meeberg project management and construction advice, the Tenants' Association and employees of Construction Company Schrijver.
Alderman Daan van Orselen and Landre Schrijver, director of construction company Schrijver, gave a short speech. Daan van Orselen: “We are building social housing for starters, families and seniors here, and all of it is completely energy-efficient. It is great that we can offer 42 social housing units to our residents with the municipal Housing Company. The fact that the homes are attractive is evident from the interest and the total of 2,724 registrations. Together with construction company Schrijver and the new residents who will be living here next year, we are making Voorne aan Zee “every time a little bit more beautiful.”
This new construction project is partly realized with a subsidy from the province. Drilling this first pile is therefore very important for the project. We are very happy that this milestone has been achieved with the cooperation of Bouwbedrijf Schrijver.
You can read more about the homes on the Project Patrijzenlaan Oostvoorne page.
