Establish, build and expand

For entrepreneurs who want to establish, build or expand their business in the municipality of Voorne aan Zee , there are several options: buy, rent or build new.

Omgevingswet

On Jan. 1, 2024, the new Omgevingswet took effect. More information can be found on the Rijksoverheid website or on the omgevingswet page. The municipality's zoning plan describes what zoning applies to a piece of land (territory). You can look this up yourself via the Omgevingsloket website.

Business parks and shopping (center) areas

There are several areas in Voorne aan Zee where businesses can locate: business parks, shopping center areas and smaller shopping areas.

There are two regional business parks where environmental category 3 activity takes place. These are the business parks:

  • Kickersbloem 1, 2 and 3 in Hellevoetsluis
  • Seggelant in Vierpolders

Other business parks where business activities up to environmental category 3 and functional mixing are allowed: 

  • 't Woud in Brielle
  • Pinnepot in Oostvoorne
  • Moolhoek in Rockanje  
  • Werfplein in Zwartewaal

In our municipality there are several (shopping) center areas, which mainly house retail, offices and hospitality. These shopping center areas are:

  • Brielle city center
  • Shopping center Struytse Hoeck Hellevoetsluis
  • Rijksstraatweg Hellevoetsluis 
  • Village square and town hall avenue Rockanje
  • Dorpsplein and Stationsweg Oostvoorne

The smaller shopping areas have only a few stores, supermarket and/or restaurants. These are:

  • Rugge Square Brielle
  • The Reede Brielle
  • Evertsenplein Hellevoetsluis
  • Trout Hellevoetsluis
  • Rijksstraatweg and Dorpsstraat Nieuwenhoorn
  • Village heart Zwartewaal
