VP Flex Transportation

Collective transportation means that you travel with several people at the same time. The transport area covers the territory of the municipalities Voorne aan Zee and Nissewaard. You can also travel with the regiotaxi to so-called point destinations. These are important destinations that may fall outside the transport area, such as hospitals. The point destinations can be found on the VP Flex Vervoer website .
To use VP Flex Transportation, you can apply for a pass through Wmo.

Travel outside the region with Valys
For longer trips that are outside the transportation area and are not a point destination, you can only use Valys transportation. Valys is the nationwide travel service for people with mobility impairments. Valys is intended for social recreational trips.

New rules for wheelchair cab use
If you use a wheelchair cab, it is important that you are transported safely while doing so. Therefore, as of July 1, 2021, your wheelchair must meet ISO standard 7178-19 (the so-called impact test). Does your wheelchair not meet the standard as of this date? Then you may no longer travel with the wheelchair cab. The cab driver will have to refuse you for this reason.
Are you dependent on a wheelchair? Then we recommend that you check whether it meets the ISO standard. You can recognize this by the hook symbols on the frame of your wheelchair. Or you can find it in your wheelchair's manual. If your wheelchair does not comply, contact your wheelchair supplier. They can discuss with you what the next steps are.
