Trustee Youth Care

Jeugdstem is the organization of confidants in youth care. Anyone who deals with youth care and has questions about it can turn to jeugdstem. For information, advice or support. Children, adolescents and adults can go to a confidant with questions or complaints.

A confidant can accompany you to meetings with the municipality or a social worker. The confidant also helps with submitting a complaint to a complaints committee or objecting to the municipality. Support from the trust person of Jeugdstem is free of charge. Jeugdstem is an independent foundation, the confidants are not employed by the municipality of Voorne aan Zee.

How does it work?

 A Youth Voice confidant:                                            

  • provides information and advice to youth, parents and caregivers and explains how youth services work;
  • Supports clients with complaints about youth care;
  • provides information on rights and legal status in youth care;
  • contributes to improving the quality of youth care.
