Notify the municipality where you will be living of your move. Do this no later than 5 days after you have moved. You can notify the municipality of your move up to 4 weeks before your moving date.

Report a move

Here's how it works

Date of change of address

  • If you notify us of your move before the moving date, we will update your address information on the date you provided. That will then be the date of your address change.
  • If you report your move after the moving date, the moving date will be considered the date of your change of address. However, you must do this within 5 days of your move.
  • Are you filing your tax return later? If so, the date on which you report the change will be the official date of your change of address.

We will notify your former municipality of your move. You will be automatically deregistered from that municipality. You will not receive a notification of your deregistration.

Health Please make sure to provide all the information the municipality needs. Otherwise, we won't be able to update your address information.

Moving from Abroad

Are you moving from abroad, or are you registered in the RNI (Non-Resident Registry)? If so, you must obtain a Make an appointment to register with the municipality.
