Sustainability Coach

The municipality has appointed Stefan Romijn of Stichting Stimular as sustainability coach to advise and support companies in making their businesses more sustainable. Among other things, the sustainability coach helps with:

- determining and calculating measures
- requesting and assessing quotations
- applying for subsidies
- applying for a sustainability loan
- thinking along on topics such as energy, waste, transport and greening

The sustainability coach also sets up collective actions, such as filling company roofs with solar panels.

Incentive loan for businesses and associations

Companies and associations can take out low-interest loans for sustainability. Thus, companies and associations can borrow € 25,000 to € 100,000. The term is up to 15 years and depends on the type of measure for which you request the loan and the amount of the loan. The college determines the interest rate of your loan. You can apply for a loan for up to 90% of the cost of sustainable measures.

Examples of sustainable and innovative measures for which an incentive loan can be applied include:

  • Solar Panels
  • Heat Pumps
  • Solar water heaters
  • Green roofs

Application in two steps

Applying for an incentive loan consists of two steps.

Step 1: Apply for an allocation decision for an incentive loan from the municipality

Apply for an allocation decision from the municipality. You will need the following attachments with this application:

  • Extract from the Chamber of Commerce.
  • Quotation of sustainable measures.
  • Feasibility Study.
  • Statement of de minimis support.

The municipality will decide on your application for an allocation decision within 6 weeks.
