Municipality of Voorne aan Zee meets the accessibility requirements of the Temporary Decree on Digital Government Accessibility with its websitenl. We have the highest status for this, the A status. Meeting this standard, among other things, makes our website more user-friendly and more accessible to different target groups.

Accessibility is an ongoing process

After achieving A status, we continue to work on the accessibility of our websites. We do this by, among other things: 

  • Research: independent experts test parts of) our website for accessibility. Found bottlenecks we solve permanently.
  • Audits: we have our Web content creation processes audited to determine if they are optimally set up to promote accessibility compliance.
  • Internal check before publication: our editorial staff tests all content for accessibility before publication.
  • Periodic internal control: our editors periodically perform intermediate checks on content.
  • Employee training: our editors have attended accessibility training.
