Spearheads Economy 2025-2035

Voorne aan Zee is growing and changing. To move with the changes in society and economy, the City Council adopted the Spearheads Economy 2025-2035 on Thursday, June 5, 2025. This document sets out how we will work together in the coming years to build a strong, sustainable and future-proof economy.

We are actively committed to an economy that suits Voorne aan Zee: green, innovative and balanced. Entrepreneurs, educational institutions and regional partners have contributed to the content. Thanks to this broad participation, the plan matches the opportunities and concerns in our municipality as closely as possible.

Voorne aan Zee is a unique municipality. We want to preserve and utilize that quality. Therefore, we strengthen sectors such as tourism, recreation, agriculture and technology. We give space to entrepreneurs to innovate and provide work locations that are ready for the future.

We are also working on an attractive leisure economy with attention to quality, hospitality and distribution of visitors. This will keep Voorne aan Zee a nice place to live, work and relax.
