  • Friday, May 1, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.: Alderman Bal will attend the unveiling of the Seeburg Tisch, where he will perform the ceremonial ribbon-cutting and give a short speech at the Biberbunker, located at Zandweg 83 in Oostvoorne.
     
  • Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.: Mayor Scheepers will review the veterans’ parade as part of the Liberation Festival in Brielle.
     
  • Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.: Alderman will attend the Remembrance Day ceremony in Tinte. Following the tattoo and the flag-raising ceremony, Alderman will deliver a speech and lay flowers. Location: Colinslandsedijk in Tinte (near the Moluk).
     
  • Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.: Alderman will attend the Remembrance Day ceremony in Zwartewaal, where he will deliver a speech at the monument and lay a wreath. Locations: De Gaffelaar, Martinusplein 3 in Zwartewaal, 7:30 p.m.; Martinuskerk/Monument, intersection of Havenkade, Noordeinde, and Elfwekenlaan in Zwartewaal.
     
  • Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.: Alderman will attend the Remembrance Day ceremony in Brielle. First, there will be a memorial service at the Sjoel, followed at 7:30 p.m. by a silent procession to the monument near St. Catherine’s Church. There, Alderman will deliver a speech and lay flowers. Locations: The Sjoel, Turfkade 16 in Brielle, and the monument near St. Catherine’s Church in Brielle.
     
  • Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.: Alderman will attend the Remembrance Day ceremony in Oostvoorne. Alderman will deliver a speech and lay flowers at the Commonwealth War Graves and the Leendert van der Meer Monument. Location: the cemetery on Voorweg in Oostvoorne.
     
  • Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.: Alderman will attend the Remembrance Day ceremony in Oudenhoorn. At 8:00 p.m., the Alderman will lay Alderman at the monument in front of the church. Location: Kerk aan de Ring, Ring 1 in Oudenhoorn.
     
  • Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.: Mayor Scheepers will attend the Remembrance Day ceremony in Nieuwenhoorn. He will deliver a speech there. The program will also feature poetry, music, and dance. This will be followed by a silent procession to the monument on Rijksstraatweg, where a two-minute moment of silence will be observed at 8:00 p.m. and flowers will be laid. Locations: Dorpskerk, Dorpsstraat 14 in Nieuwenhoorn, and the monument on Rijksstraatweg across from 286 in Nieuwenhoorn.
     
  • Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:55 p.m.: Alderman will attend the Remembrance Day ceremony in Rockanje. In addition to the rest of the program, Alderman will deliver a speech and lay flowers at the war memorial, as well as at the Commonwealth War Graves. Location: Maria Rust Cemetery on Zeeweg in Rockanje.
     
  • Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.: Mayor Scheepers will attend the Liberation Day breakfast in the OHVV cafeteria at Eeweg 31 in Oudenhoorn.
     
  • Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 3:15 to 3:30 p.m.: Mayor Scheepers will welcome the participants in the Liberation Torch Relay from Wageningen. Location: the monument on Turfkade in Brielle.
     
  • Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.: Mayor Scheepers will present the awards during the Mother’s Day Fair on Ring 1 in Oudenhoorn.
