- Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.: Mayor Arno Scheepers will fire the starting shot for the Beat the Beach running race, which will start and finish at MFC de Merel, Willem de Waalstraat 3 in Rockanje. The mayor will also be participating in the race.
