• Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.: Deputy Mayor Aart Jan Spoon will attend the ceremony honoring the Tour de France riders in attendance and will fire the starting gun for the professional riders at 7:00 p.m. during the Oostvoorne Cycling Race.
   
• Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.: Alderman Aart Jan Spoon will be present at the award ceremony for the Overall Champion of the Hellevoetsluis Breeding Stock Show at Smitsweg 29 in Hellevoetsluis.
   
• Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.: On August 15, Deputy Mayor Aart Jan Spoon will lay a wreath at the monument on Turfkade in Brielle in memory of all the victims of the war against Japan and the Japanese occupation of the Dutch East Indies, and to mark the formal end of World War II. (Departure from the old city hall.)
