Malfunctions, repair and maintenance

Faults and reports for repairs and maintenance can still be reported to us in the same way. You can contact the supervisor by telephone on weekdays between 08.00 and 09.30 by calling 0181 - 40 80 52 or via nl

Outside of office hours, our superintendents are available for emergencies at 0181 - 40 80 52.

Projects & maintenance

New construction of 42 social housing units on Patrijzenlaan in Oostvoorne

Project update: Construction is proceeding on schedule. After the sewer system was installed, the first floor floors were installed. After that, the gluing work was started. After this, construction went up and the second floor floors were laid. In the coming weeks we will move toward the highest point. This will give us more and more insight into what the houses will look like. 

Schedule (depending on weather conditions) 

• 2nd quarter: install roofs and facades and install interior walls, floor finishing, installation work
• 3rd quarter: finishing installations, installing kitchens, bathrooms and plastering
• expected completion end 3rd quarter 2024

Homes by Hef Wonen  

You may have already read about it in the media. The Woonbedrijf is going to take over homes from Hef Wonen. A partnership of housing associations Maasdelta, Ressort Wonen and the municipal Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee is taking over some 750 homes in Brielle from Hef Wonen. 

Rotterdam housing corporation Hef Wonen is selling its homes in Brielle. These are homes in the center and surrounding neighborhoods of Brielle, Vierpolders and Zwartewaal. Hef Wonen wants to focus entirely on the Rotterdam city region, but considers it important that the homes remain available for the social rental market. 

On April 18, the council of the Municipality of Voorne aan Zee took a positive decision on the acquisition of nearly 300 homes. The homes are expected to be transferred by the middle of this year.

Good Landlord Act

The Good Landlord Act went into effect July 1, 2023. 

The Good Landlord Act provides clarity to landlords and rental agencies and offers protection to tenants: what is allowed and what is not. On the following page on the website of the Municipality of Voorne aan Zee you can find more information. Here you can read what you can report and, if necessary, how to do so. 

Expansion Woonbedrijf

In recent years, the work for team Woonbedrijf has increased. In recent years, Woonbedrijf has taken on these various additional activities within the current team. Now that we will also be taking over almost 300 homes from Hef Wonen, it is time to expand our team in order to be able to handle the daily activities associated with our rental properties. In addition, the extra colleagues are necessary to properly carry out the new construction and sustainability projects, but of course it also contributes to maintaining our service to you. In recent months, four new employees have already started and also in the coming month a new colleague will start. You will automatically meet them in the neighborhood or on the phone. We welcome our new colleagues. 

Neighbor nuisance

All of our tenants want fine living in a livable environment. Most neighbors get along well, despite having different backgrounds and lifestyles. Sometimes, unfortunately, it also happens that neighbors are a nuisance to each other.

You may not be able to imagine it right now, but the nice weather is coming. The days are getting longer, the barbecue is taken out of the shed again and people are enjoying the summer evenings outside, often with background music. Very cozy, but also try to be considerate of each other. Are you having a party, for example? Let the neighbors know. This can prevent mutual irritation.

This interview explains what neighborhood mediation is, what it can be used for and how it works in practice. A copy of this interview is enclosed with this newsletter for your information.
