Dutch language and computer classes

Would you like to get better at the Dutch language and get better at using the computer? We would love to help you get started.
If you can read and write well and use the Internet, many things are easier. Like finding work, money matters, raising children and healthy living.

Residents of the municipality of Voorne aan Zee can take several courses free of charge at NL Training and Sagènn. These courses are for all residents who are new to the Netherlands but also for people born in the Netherlands. 

You can also visit the Digital Language House and Digital Government Information Point at the library for help, advice and training. Can't make it to the library? Then SBO's DigiMaatje offers to come to your home.
 

Language courses

Anyone aged 18 or older who is registered in the municipality of Voorne aan Zee and is not (or no longer) required to integrate (passed the exam, has an exemption or full exemption) can register with NL Training or Sagènn for a language course. You will be taught by trained teachers. 

The municipality pays for participation in the course. You can register yourself at NL Training or Sagènn. You do not need approval or referral from the municipality.

Language courses on health, work and development

NL Training provides a language course on health, work and development. In this course we work on Dutch language, math, digital skills and money matters. This course is free and you receive a certificate of participation. You can choose which subject you find important: language and development, language and health or language and work.

Getting a language degree

Sagènn offers language courses to get a diploma. A language diploma can be important for work or further study. This course is free of charge. Don't have a laptop? The Digital Language House at the library

The DigiTaalhuis is a place in the library where you can practice the Dutch language and learn to use the computer and internet. This is free of charge and you do not have to be a member of the library. You can work with a language buddy or at the language café. At the digicafe you can learn to use the computer and internet.

Digital Government Information Point

The Digital Government Information Point (IDO) is also in the library and is there for all your questions about digital government. Such as questions about logging in with your DigiD, applying for benefits, health certificates or your pension statement. Anyone seeking information and help with the (digital) government can visit the IDO consultation hour at the library. The staff is happy to help anyone on their way.

Digimate

Are you unable to go to a Digital Government Information Point for digital questions? If so, a DigiMate from SBO can come to your home. DigiMaatjes help with digital issues such as sending photos, ordering something over the Internet or paying bills digitally.
