Frequently asked questions - the Meander

When do swim lesson A groups start?

This depends on the flow of the current swimming groups. Each child progresses at his or her own pace. It is therefore not possible to tell far in advance when a new group will start. As soon as your child can start swimming lessons, we will contact you.

How can I register my child?

• You can register your child in 2 ways:
• Via the webshop.
• At the front desk in the Meander.
  Please note: You must first pay the registration fee to complete registration.

Can parents come into the locker rooms with you?

• Yes, parents, siblings are allowed to come along. Only during diploma swimming, only 1 parent may accompany you to the locker room. A staff member will tell you which locker room you may go to.
• Don't leave clothes lying around, but put them in a (plastic) bag. Hang it on the clothes hook. This is in connection with cleaning in between.

How do I get a swimming pass?

• Swimming lessons: You will receive the swimming pass on the introduction evening or before the start of the first swimming lesson. You pay a deposit of €5 per swimming pass.
• For other target groups, you will receive a swimming pass with the purchase of a bathing pass. Cost of the pass is €5.00.

I did not receive a pass, now what?

• Contact the Meander by calling (0181) 48 74 55 or stop by. The staff will be happy to help you.

I forgot my pass, what should I do?

• Stop by the Meander's front desk. The staff there will help you.

What should I do if my pass is lost or stolen?

What should I do if I lose my swim pass?

• You can have your pass blocked at the front desk and request a new one for a fee of €5.00. 
• Any credit on your pass will be transferred to your new pass.

Can I have multiple children swim via the same pass?

• No. You request a separate swimming pass for each child.

Can I use my swim pass for multiple activities at the same time?

• Yes, you can. You can put multiple pool cards on the swim pass so you can use it for lane swimming, recreational swimming, for the target groups as well as the coffee/tea Map.

• For dates, visit the clothed swimming page or the Meander's app.
