Household Hazardous Waste

Household Hazardous Waste (KCA) do not throw it in the garbage, but hand it in at the Environmental park or a municipal collection point.

How does it work?

You can often drop off your Household Hazardous Waste at other places as well. For example, batteries at supermarkets and hardware stores, hypodermic needles and medications at pharmacies, and electrical appliances at electronics stores.

Companies may dispose of chemical waste only if they have an environmental permit to do so.
