Youth Health Care
The municipality provides help, health care and support to youth and parents/educators who need it. For example, with problems growing up or parenting that they cannot solve themselves.
In Voorne aan Zee , youth health care is provided by the Centrum Jeugd en Gezin Rijnmond (CJG). CJG Rijnmond is the place where (future) parents, caregivers, children, adolescents and professionals can go with questions about parenting, growing up and health. From pregnancy until your child is 18, the CJG checks at various times whether your child is developing well. This is done via (video) phone calls, at your home, at one of the CJG locations and at school.
Besides youth nurses, the CJG also employs youth doctors, (doctor's) assistants, (ortho)pedagogues and other experts to enable healthy and safe growing up.
CJG Rijnmond is part of the Voorne aan Zee Social Area Team in which other forms of Health also participate. As a result, access to Health is organized integrally.
