Financial help for entrepreneurs and self-employed workers

The Municipality of Voorne aan Zee cooperates with the Regional Self-Employed Agency (RBZ).

Are you currently experiencing a down period as an entrepreneur? Or are you receiving Social assistance benefit benefits and have a good idea for your own business? Here you can read about what we can offer you as a municipality.

  • Support for entrepreneurs and self-employed workers
    Are you an entrepreneur or self-employed person and are you unable to earn a minimum income? Then you can apply for help or a benefit at the Regional Self-Employment Office (RBZ) of the municipality of Rotterdam.
  • Support for starters on welfare
    Are you receiving (welfare) benefits and do you have a good idea for your own business or would you like advice on starting your own business? Then visit the Regional Self-Employment Office (RBZ) of the municipality of Rotterdam.
  • Self-employment benefit
    If you cannot manage to earn a minimum income, you can apply to the RBZ for benefits. There are several schemes for this:
    • Self-employment Assistance Decree (Bbz).
    • Income Support and Partially Disabled Former Self-Employed Persons Act (IoaZ).

    • Starter program: the RBZ helps you transition to self-employment.
