City council goes for new housing development in Oostvoorne
Sept. 21, the municipal council adopted the zoning plan for new construction plan Zwaluwhof. In Oostvoorne, between Patrijzenlaan, Fazantenlaan and Van der Meerweg, 71 owner-occupied homes will be built. This plan is called Zwaluwhof. Next to Zwaluwhof is a plan being developed by the municipal Woonbedrijf with 42 social housing units on Patrijzenlaan. The zoning plan for this is on the agenda for the next council meeting.
Swallow Court
The houses for sale in Zwaluwhof are being developed by Van Omme De Groot. They will build 17 compact and 15 spacious row houses, 10 semi-detached bungalows, 22 semi-detached houses and 7 detached houses. The plan meets the great need for both affordable starter homes and homes for seniors. The municipality has made regional agreements with surrounding municipalities regarding the construction of housing. Part of those homes will be built in village centers. The development of this area contributes to this.
New homes
The new homes will be accessed from Pheasant Avenue. The neighborhood will have its own character. By mirroring the backyards of the new homes to the gardens of the existing homes, a kind of inner area is created with space for water and avenues of trees. The water features are part of the water system that ensures proper drainage of rainwater. The residents of the new homes can park in the public space among the greenery, but also on their own property.
