Pool

In pool Dukdalf you can swim recreationally, but also practice aqua sports or therapeutic swimming, for example. The pool provides swimming lessons for your child for the A, B and C diploma.

Sports halls and squash

DukdalfBRES has a large sports hall that is used by Briel schools during the day and can be rented by sports clubs in the evenings. There are also two separate gymnasiums and three squash courts that can be rented. More information about the sports halls and squash courts can be found on the Sports Hall or Gym Rent page.

Cultural halls

DukdalfBRES has a number of cultural venues that you can rent: 

Duk-Out

The Duk-Out is a small enclosed space for two or three people that is used, for example, for tutoring.

Meeting room 

The meeting room is a soundproof space intended for meetings, courses, and training sessions, for example. The room can accommodate 8-10 people and has a fixed TV screen for presentations.

Playing area 

The stage area is the part of the theater without seating. It is intended for cultural activities organized by associations or individuals. 

Theater

The theater hall is located on the first floor of the building and has a maximum capacity of 196 seats. The rental of the theater hall includes the use of the two dressing rooms. The foyer with catering facilities is on the ground floor and is a public space. The foyer is also used by other visitors to DukdalfBRES, such as visitors to the library, swimming pool, or sports hall. The theater hall is intended for theater productions, theater companies, associations, foundations, schools, and companies and may not be used for private parties.

Technical support during performances is provided by Sander Mierop AV-en Theatertechniek. He will prepare a customized quote, which will be included in the venue rental quote.

Dimensions of theater auditorium and stage area

• exclusive playing area 11 meters long and 14 meters wide
• The playing area is 10 meters long and 10 meters wide.
