Drones are taking measurements at the North Sea beach and Quackstrand
This weekend, drones will be flying over the North Sea beach, north of the Haringvliet, and in the Quackstrand parking lot.

The drones belong to TenneT. TenneT operates the national high-voltage grid in the Netherlands. The drones are used to take measurements. These measurements show the best locations for laying power lines in the future.
These cables carry renewable electricity from offshore wind farms to the mainland.
