Soil Survey at the Haringvliet Dam and Along the Coast Voorne aan Zee
In September, TenneT, the operator of the national high-voltage grid in the Netherlands, will begin conducting soil surveys at sea and along the coast near the N57.
TenneT is conducting a survey of the seabed to determine the best locations for laying power cables in the future. These cables will carry renewable energy from offshore wind farms to the mainland. A research vessel at sea and low-flying drones along the coast are carrying out the measurements.
