Automatic crediting of T driving license ends July 1, 2025
Since July 1, 2015, a T license has been mandatory for driving tractors on public roads. Until July 1, 2025, the T category is automatically added when renewing a B license from before that date. After that date, this will no longer be possible.
What should you do?
Did you get your B driver's license before July 1, 2015, and automatically want category T on your license? If so, your driver's license must be renewed before July 1, 2025. You can extend or renew your driving license, more information can be found on the Driving License page. Do you want category T on your driving license after July 1, 2025? Then you must pass a theory and practical exam to obtain this license.
Validity of driving license
Do you currently already have a driver's license to which the T category is credited, and is this license still valid after July 1, 2025? Then you do not need to do anything. You will automatically keep your T driving license, even with new renewals in the future.
