Homes in Brielle get major maintenance after being taken over by Woonbedrijf
On the Vrouwenhoflaan in Brielle, we performed major maintenance on several homes owned by the Woonbedrijf Voorne aan Zee. The Woonbedrijf is tackling several homes in different streets in Brielle this year.
Major maintenance includes painting and replacing single glazing with insulating glass. This improves the quality of the homes and ensures pleasant and sustainable living for both current and future residents.
The homes were acquired last year from housing corporation Hef Wonen. In addition to these homes, the Woonbedrijf is also renovating, step by step, other rental properties acquired and existing in 2024.
Alderman to visit
Alderman Daan van Orselen visited the homes, stressing the importance of the maintenance, "By starting this work quickly, we ensure that the homes remain in good condition, the living comfort for the residents improves and the homes look neat again."
Sustainable maintenance
Van Lochem Netherlands is performing the painting and glass work. This company does not always work for Woonbedrijf, but was specially selected for this project because of their experience with sustainable maintenance. Mark van Nierop, project manager of the Rotterdam branch of Van Lochem: "We are proud to be able to contribute to the preservation of these homes. With our experience and sustainable working methods, we will ensure that the houses will last for years to come."
