Amendments to the General Local Regulation for Voorne aan Zee

As of December 25, 2025, a number of rules in the General Local Regulation (APV) of Voorne aan Zee have been Voorne aan Zee . A large part of the changes relate to the new hospitality and events policy of the municipality Voorne aan Zee.

Below are the most important changes:

Placing objects on or near the road

According to Article 2:10 of the APV, you will now need a permit if you want to place anything on or along the road. This provides clarity for everyone, both for you as the permit holder and for our supervisors.

Preventing nuisance

According to the new Article 2:47a of the APV, the Municipal Executive may designate certain areas where persons causing nuisance are not allowed to loiter. This helps to improve the quality of life in our municipality.

Feeding and keeping nuisance or harmful animals

Due to the amendment of Article 2:60 of the APV, it is prohibited to feed and keep nuisance or harmful animals within the municipality. The new Article 2:60a of the APV stipulates that you may only feed pets in public places, not other animals. This prevents disease, vermin, and pollution.

Incineration of waste materials and burning fires

Due to the amendment of Article 5:34 of the APV, you now only need to report the burning of waste outside companies or the lighting of fires; you no longer need to apply for an exemption. The existing rules remain in force.
