With this award, the Municipality of Voorne aan Zee wants to stimulate and reward young entrepreneurship in the region. The 'Young Talent of the Year' award is intended for entrepreneurs who distinguish themselves with a fresh vision, a daring approach and inspiring ideas. Alderman Aart Jan Spoon is enthusiastic about the new award: "Young entrepreneurs are our future. 'Entrepreneur of the Year' award
The 'Entrepreneur of the Year' award is aimed at all entrepreneurs in Voorne aan Zee who are making a positive impact with vision, passion and perseverance. The condition for participation is that they have an established business in the municipality and have been active for at least six months.
The Jury
The jury consists of a diverse group of entrepreneurs from the various villages and cores of Voorne aan Zee, Alderman Economics Aart Jan Spoon and a representative of the local business associations. The jury will judge the entries on innovation and distinctiveness, pioneering mentality and their contribution to the community and the image of Voorne Voorne aan Zee. The jury will select three contenders in both categories from all the nominations, after which the winners will be announced during the entrepreneurs' evening on November 27.
