Voorne aan Zee for Mr. Dijkman of Dijkman Hoveniers
On Friday, March 6, Mayor Arno Scheepers presented the Voorne aan Zee to Mr. Martin Dijkman of Dijkman Hoveniers.
This took place during the celebration of the company's 50th anniversary and also marked Mr. Dijkman's departure from the company he founded.
Mr. Dijkman has been the owner and driving force behind the landscaping company for 50 years. He is concluding a long period of entrepreneurship in our municipality. In addition to his work, Mr. Dijkman has always been active in the community. He was involved in the Voorne Putten Business Club, volunteered at local activities and events (such as the Bos- en Burchtfair), and supported initiatives through sponsorship and practical involvement in sports clubs and schools. In everything he did, he set a clear example: reliable, connecting, and always willing to contribute where needed.
The Voorne aan Zee is a token of appreciation for individuals, organizations, and companies that make a special contribution to the community. With this award, the municipality expresses its gratitude for the important role that Mr. Dijkman has played in the local economy and society over the past 50 years.
