Relocation of turning basin 2nd strike Rockanje
From June 2025, public transportation will again be offered at the beach on the 2nd stroke in Rockanje during the summer months. The bus will run a different route than before, which means that the turning loop will have to be modified. Simultaneously with the relocation of the turning loop, the bus stop will be made disabled accessible.
Work will begin from Wednesday, May 28, 2025 through Friday, June 13. During the work, the Tweede Slag parking lot will be accessible via C.G. Kleijburgweg. After 4 p.m. and on Ascension Day and Pentecost, no work will be done and Tweede Slag and C.G. van Kleijburgweg will be passable.
New bus line
The new bus line 803 will run on all days starting June 14 on weekends and summer vacations. The bus rides of the 403 from Spijkenisse that normally have its terminus in Brielle will continue directly to the beach without calling at the towns of Oostvoorne and Rockanje.
