Elections, voting from another municipality

Do you want to vote in another municipality? Then you must apply for a voter's card. This can be done in two ways: in writing or orally at the municipal counter.

Apply in writing for a voter ID card

You can apply for a voter ID card in writing using an application form. You can download this from the website of Rijksoverheid. A written application for a voter's pass must be received by the municipality by 5 p.m. on October 24 at the latest. You can hand in the form at our offices in Brielle, Hellevoetsluis or Rockanje.

Addresses and opening hours:

  • Brielle, Slagveld 36, Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Hellevoetsluis, Oostzanddijk 26, Monday to Friday 08.00-17.00 and Thursday evenings from 18.00-19.30
  • Rockanje, Raadhuislaan 6, Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

If your application is approved, you will receive a voter ID card by mail. In addition, starting Oct. 9, you can also apply for your voter ID digitally. After you fill out the online form, the new voter card will be sent to you. Your request will not be approved if you previously submitted a written request to vote by proxy and that request was approved.
