Voorne aan Zee safety monitor launched
You may soon receive a letter from CBS and Ipsos I&0. In it you will be invited to participate in the Safety Monitor. This is a survey about crime, insecurity, problems in the neighborhood and what the municipality and police are doing.
The survey is a random sample; not all residents will receive an invitation. In the municipality of Voorne aan Zee , 4,486 residents were randomly chosen for this survey. Have you been chosen? Then we hope you will participate! By giving your opinion, you are helping to create a safer and nicer neighborhood.
What do we do with the results of this study?
The city will use the results of this survey to make better policies for safer neighborhoods. It is important that as many people as possible who receive the invitation letter participate. Share your experiences through the Safety Monitor and help us make the municipality safer and more beautiful!
When does the research start?
The survey will begin around Aug. 8, 2025. You can participate online. In recent years, the survey has already been held in more than 300 municipalities in the Netherlands. The results will be announced in March 2026.
