Counting votes

On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, all polling stations will close at 9:00 p.m. After that, the poll workers will begin counting the votes. This count is conducted by party list and provides a preliminary indication of the results. You are welcome to be present; the counting is open to the public.

The results are recorded in an official report and, together with the ballot box, transported to the location where the central count will take place on Thursday.

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, the municipal election board will count all votes by candidate. This will take place during an official, public session at Sporthal de Eendr8 in Hellevoetsluis. You are welcome to come and watch. Members of the media are also welcome to attend.
